ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
At Modern Ambalaj, our primary goals within the scope of our activities carried out under our motto "We Produce Services" are to protect the environment, the efficient and conscious management of resource use and the reduction of wastes. Within the principles of sustainable development and the circular economy and in accordance with our company's environmental objectives and context, to provide continuous improvement and sustain our environmental management system throughout our entire values, to reduce the environmental effects of our activities and to enhance our environmental management performance.
- To follow global developments, researches and technologies related to environmental management,
- To eliminate and/or reduce the environmental effects due to our activities, and to prevent water and soil pollution,
- To comply with entire environmental legislation and obligations of the countries in which we are trading and to ensure the requirements of customers, suppliers and third parties for whom we accept compliance obligations.
- To determine our environmental risks and opportunities and to prevent from risks by integrating our environmental management system into our processes and strategies,
- To cooperate with third parties within the scope of the environmental management system,
- To determine key performance indicators to improve environmental performance, plan actions, follow the outputs and focus on continous improvement.
- To assess our investments’ environmental efefcts and to manage our investments according to environmental performance.
- To strive the global climate crisis, determine our risks and opportunities and transact to low-carbon economy.
- To review our sustainibility approaches regulary and to apply to our product life cycle to act and to continous environmental improvements aims and targets.
- To design and manufacture energy and water efficient, durable, repairable, and recyclable environmental friendly products.
- To take under control the emmissions to prevent air pollution.
- To increase the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
- To focus on the efficient use of the sources by using modern and clean manufacturing technologies and decreasing the use of water, energy and the chemicals.
- According to circular economy principles, our priority is to use recycled materials in the design of products and processes, prevent or reduce waste generation, reuse, and recycle.
- To incorporate the employees and their representatives, contractors, subcontractors and visitors to ensure their awarness and sensibilities to environmental issues, to organize training programs and environment culture in every level.
- To focus on the conservation of ecosystems, habitats, all species especially endangered and endemic ones; to prevent land degradation; to maintain continuous improvment and to enhance the capacities of natural ecosystems; and to manage the affects on biodiversity in a sustainable manner.
- Not to incorporate directly or indirectly to unacceptable activities such as illegal logging and trade of forest products or the substantial conversion of forests into plantations or non-forest uses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Environmental Policy is published, reviewed, and updated under the authority of the Directorate of Health, Safety and Environment.
Modern Ambalaj management is responsible to adopt and observance, the employees and stakeholders are responsible to implement of this policy.
